MathWrap for Confluence — Support

MathWrap is built and supported by one developer. Here is how to get help and what to expect.

Response times

• Replies on business days (Monday–Friday, Korea Standard Time, UTC+9).
• First response: normally within 2 business days.
• Issues that stop the app working for a whole site are handled first.

These are targets, not a contractual service level.

Before you write

Most questions are answered by opening the page menu (•••) → Math: wrap / unwrap $ formulas. The panel shows how many formulas are still plain text, how many are rendered, and how many were left alone inside code on purpose.

Things that are by design:

• $5-style prices, escaped \$, and anything inside code blocks or inline code are never converted.
• Each Wrap or Unwrap creates a new page version.
• Automatic conversion is off until a space administrator turns it on under Space settings → Apps → MathWrap, and it takes effect about 30 seconds after publishing.
• Equation-reference macros from other apps are recognised but not converted, because turning a reference into a formula would change what the page says.

What to include in a report

1. Your Confluence site URL (for example yourcompany.atlassian.net).
2. What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
3. The exact message shown in the MathWrap panel, if any.
4. The TeX of a formula that renders wrongly (copy it from the formula's edit dialog).
5. A screenshot, if the problem is visual.

Please do not send page content you are not allowed to share. We never need access to your site to diagnose a problem, and we cannot see your pages.
